Pediatric Dentists are specifically trained in the diagnosis and management care of infants, children, adolescents and persons with special care needs. They have the training and knowledge to assist children, parents, guardians and caregivers in promoting oral health. They also have specific training in behaviour modification, sedation and utilization of general anaesthesia. In addition, their training provides extensive study and care for persons with special care needs.
